For the last two years, we have been living in a constant state of stress. This threat to our health and well-being has been deeply traumatic. But the feelings of loneliness, isolation, and disconnection existed long before the pandemic.
We live in a world that overstimulates our senses with an unending feed of bright lights, loud noises, and information both true and false. The scroll never ends. Despite the fact that our feeds are constantly live and updating, our souls are not being fed. We have a plethora of tools for connecting, but we use them in isolation. Mindlessly swiping from morning till night. Our brains are asleep in a fog of anxiety and indecision. We need creative thinking, true communication, and genuine connection to ourselves and others.
Art Connection Circle is an invitation to find your truth, know yourself, and build relationships that go beyond the surface. Explore the human condition through the lens of art with like-minded individuals seeking to understand their place in the universe.
The most important part of an artwork is you. Your energy. Your ideas. Your feelings and memories. In the Art Connection Circle, you will learn how to harness the power of art to reflect on your life and discover your unique path forward.

Art Connection Circle is a place to explore our own intimate connection with ourselves through our interactions with art and each other. In this group, Cindy will lead participants through art interpretation and connection activities designed to teach you strategies for connecting with works of art. These powerful interactions with art will teach you about yourself, help you understand your values and beliefs, feel your feelings, and connect with other like-minded people.
I’ve found in my career that many people feel cut off from visual art. They feel like they are missing something, like they aren’t good enough, cultured enough, or smart enough. They have internalized the elitism of the art world and don’t “get” art. But I am here to tell you that art is for everyone, especially for you. This program is not about filling your head with useless facts or boring historical information. This program is about you and what you bring to the art connection experience. The art will meet you where you are. In this program, you will learn how to connect with art authentically and how to use art as a safe and powerful tool for your own personal development and self-understanding.
Who is the Art Connection Circle for?
Anyone seeking a deeper connection and understanding with themselves and the human spirit as a whole.
Anyone with the courage and willingness to be vulnerable and share intimately with the group.
Anyone who is curious about the power of connecting with works of art, regardless of their art knowledge or experience. No prior knowledge or experience is expected or required.
Limited spots available.
The program is 6 weeks—from April 26 to June 2 with a break the week of May 2. In addition to the two calls each week, you will also be given a weekly art connection assignment to do on your own time. The two weekly calls will be in Zoom, and we will communicate in the interim on Slack.
The meetings will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5:00-6:30pm Central time.
Active participation is encouraged to make the most out of the program, so please make all effort to attend as many calls as you can. These are interactive conversations, not lectures. Our sessions will be deep and personal, so they are best experienced live. However, the sessions will be recorded in case you are unable to attend.

Connecting with works of art and crafting innovative learning activities are Cindy’s superpowers, and she has dedicated her life to bringing the magic of art connection to others. A former art museum educator and art teacher, Cindy has supported teachers and their students through her work as founder and CEO of Art Class Curator since 2014. With an MA in Art Education with a concentration in Art Museum Education and a BA in Art History, Cindy is passionate about taking art out of dark, stuffy lecture halls and out of the pretentious gatekeeping of “fine art” and into the hearts, minds, and lives of everyone.
Cindy delights in all things science, philosophy, art, and psychology and especially delights in being unironically excited about thoughts, ideas, and feelings. In this program, Cindy combines her art and teaching expertise with her obsession of philosophy and personal development to create a unique take on both how to engage with art and how to use art as a tool for self discovery, clarity, and action.
